An idea born in 2014 on a road trip down the Great Ocean Rd let to the birth of TanOra – an Australian-based lifestyle brand, providing women with unique, high-end beach accessories.

TanOra principles were inspired by a simple observation:

  • Youth is nothing but a state of mind! A state of mind Australian women know
    to cultivate and chose to live by.
  • At TanOra, we believe that beaches are jewels of nature and Australia is home to some of the most precious ones.

Materials

TanOra’s materials are all natural except the outer sole of the Espadrilles.
The three main materials we use are raffia, cotton, and genuine leather.
Raffia is a palm tree which the species originate from Madagascar gives a natural fibre that can be woven.

Know-how

At TanOra, we are passionate about providing you with the highest quality. The products are hand-made for you in our workshop in Madagascar.
Picking, tanning, dyeing, weaving, and sewing are all tasks that require skill, patience and care.

For instance, a Sandbag takes no less than 10 days to be realised.

When you choose TanOra you don’t just choose an accessory, you choose a piece of art.

Our dyes are all certified Oeko-Tex. This means they are safe and sustainable.

Each member of the TanOra team in Australia as well as Madagascar, is respected, fairly paid, and over 18.

SHIPPING

Orders are processed within 24 hours. Delays may occur if the order needs to be reviewed. Shipping is operated by the Australian Post. Shipping is free for any order higher than 285 AUD in Australia.

RETURN POLICY

Products can be exchanged or refunded within 28 days of delivery. The products must have only been tried & have their label on. Please keep the same box & follow the return form received with your products. Shipping cost of defective products will be at our expense.
